Here is a real story narrated by my friend. I recently recovered from severe back pain, so I want to narrate my story on how it started and how I could recover from back pain. I was wearing a faulty shoe for few months, just too lazy to buy another, so I started feeling pain in my ankle and toe, as most software professionals would do, I had simpy ignored the first symptom. I also work in a office which is too crammed, not much space to strech arms, 3 people are sitting in a space where one people used to sit few years back( So better watch the cubicles when you go to attend a job interview next time, if it is too small, better try joining another company), on top of that I was leaning my back on the chair continously, the chair itself was faulty, I was not using the hands of the chair to support my hands. Then it all started , my lower back started paining, slowly it moved up, then there was lot of pain at neck, even my hands started paining. the pain become so much I had to apply for 2 weeks emergency leave to take rest After I went on leave, first thing I did was to buy a good shoe which fits my legs well, I took everyday half an hour massage in the morning and afternoon, in addition of that I also used hotpad. Another technique I learned was to put your leg in hot water and do some streching and folding exercise, which gives good comfort to your legs. |

After I came back to work, first thing I did was stop leaning my back on that faulty chair, I started keeping my hands on the chair for getting support. Every two hours I make sure that I either go to have a cup of cofee or just take a small round. As my hand was still paining if I was holding mouse for long hours so I started using my left hand to hold the mouse for an hour or two to give my right hand some relief. I also started simple exercises like streching your arms, legs. Now 90% of the pain are gone, I hope I will recover fully from back pain soon.
